L.B.C. It's Easy As 1.2.3...
Having used ridiculously oversized bags for rather a few years, my shoulders and back are starting to feel the pain! Honestly, i am a complete lover of carrying my entire world in my bag. Over recent months i have had to start leaving the old make-up kit at home and just carry the essentials! By the end of a day i can barely lift my arms to remove a jacket!!! So to counteract this i invested in clutch bags, admittedly it took some getting used to as my Luella purse is only slightly smaller than a clutch (now you can see the pain i have been in all these years!) so what to do with the million coins and receipts that i feel the need to hold on to??! Nightmare! I had to almost go cold turkey on the large bag and feeding the bag daily! So Chanel compact (total essential) one, maybe two lipsticks (day into night!!!!!) card and money in side zip, keys and your done!! Simple! I'm totally there!
Clutch bags are everywhere and what with award season not so long ago we saw some absolute beauts on the red carpet. A particular fave seems to be the box clutch, an investment that needs to happen fast! I am so behind and this is not something that i am used to as i am sure you are aware. One-side suede the other in leather, perfect for that alternating between dressed-down-daytime and glamming it up for a night with the girlies. Classic black and with zip detail (perfect for securing belongings when slightly inebriated!)

Ok, so slightly pricey but ideal for all those non-believers of the navy/black trend. Totally goes and totally works. Crafted in crocodile and intrecciato metal, it's sleek, structured and elegant. You need no other reason!
Diane Von Furstenberg.

Not only am i loving the price but wholeheartedly in love with the colour. Always a fan of brights, especially full on neon! (Reminds me of those stripes down the side of my junior school cycling shorts!) Perfect againt black and easily workable with the colour-blocking of any Summer season!

Sally Swarovski crystal-embellished leather clutch. The token glitz and glamour bag that every girl should have in her wardrobe! Work it with the LBD or your favourite skinnies, boxy-blazer and simple vest. Who needs to bother with clothes with that little sample of perfection in your hands??!

Done for so many seasons now and we never tire of it. This is the most perfect LBC (Little Box Clutch!) and i need it in my life. Like anything McQueen it's darkly elegant, with its pleated black leather made to resemble a spine, and the shark teeth skull...well, it utterly speaks for itself. It is it's own selling power!

Amazing price and amazing colours. With the contrasting pink, red and caramel hues i would use this EVERYDAY. And i mean everday! Teamed with jeans, dresses, shorts, tailored trousers, Summers longed for maxis...anything! With it's envelope design, DKNY have catered for the girl who never leaves the house without her entire world!!!
Now dump the suitcase and invest in the bag of the season. Be it in blazing brights or 'play-it-safe' black, the LBC is sure to make the ultimate impact (and they are always big enough for the collection of phone numbers you are sure to acquire!!!) Confidence is key...!!!Xxx
