I'm A Chloe Girl, In A Chloe World...

This marks Clare Wright Keller's second outing for the Chloe label. Having previously been known to 'play it safe', Keller made sure the models sashayed down the catwalk to an explosion of rock music. In perfect contradiction were the girls dressed in serene outfits made up of a colour palette slightly reminiscent of an Easter festival! Lemon, sand, pastel pink, eggshell blue and nectarine. Definitely a collection for the beautiful 'girl-next-door' look.

The looks themselves were split between the ultra girly and the boyish (typical Chloe style) with jogging-style bottoms ruched at the ankle, slouchy and soft in silhouette. Curved coats, masculine in cut. Gathered skirts with dropped waists, light and airy, entirely easy to wear.

The most dramatic moment of the show was when the pastel pink and blue parkas were revealed. Almost like oversized militray coats, a perfect play on the masculine-come-feminine trend. Stella does it, hell it's everywhere! Definitely a play away from the safe-side for Chloe!

Kate Moss was the inspiration behind the beauty for their AW12 collection. Fresh-faced with tousled hair, Chloe style and Chloe-girl attitude. They wore it tucked into high-neck jumpers and chunky knits, pretty and...well, girly! Lace embellishment and flower appliques on an all-lace coat were the top and bottom of the entire collection.

I'd say Keller has gone along the same route as her first line! But with the parkas in tow she definitely is one step closer to edging away from the safe and exploring a different persona of the Chloe girl!!!Xxx
