Retail Therapy...

Online shopping is never a good idea! And i'm not talking about the likes of ASOS or Topshop, when you are addicted to luxury fashion (as i am) you're in for a major fall when you realise that you have a window for net-a-porter open (my shopping heaven!), Harrods, Selfridges, etc, etc. I am sure you can imagine!! However, this can have a plus side. For when you see all the glorious delights offered by these retailers you are completely put off buying just anything fom the high street. When entering most stores at the minute you are immediately greeted with masses of colour. Now don't get me wrong, i am a massive fan of colour, the brighter the better. Tropical, under the sea, oh just anything. Going on from there you normally get to a nude section, tans, creams, whites (normally Zara) something i also love. But when working all the live long day, occasionally white is not the best colour, and NEVER to be worn for after work drinks or indeed for meal time at the sisters. Children with sticky fingers is not the best combination. I was only thinking a few days back at how clashing fashion, styles, colours, can really bring out your personality. I used to be a massive fan of print, but in recent times i have steered myself away from it and gone for a more understated look, mixing in a few days of my former self of course!

So after some intensive internet trawling i have found some pretty prints to indulge the mind. Window shopping is the best form of therapy afterall and my god i need it ♥

A firm favourite since my days of Knightsbridge.

A classic printed tee.

Stella McCartney. £530.
Team with tailored pants, simple shorts or a basic skirt. A staple item for sure!

McQ by Alexander McQueen. £645.
Leather is never one to shy away from. Perfect accompaniment for smart or casual and ideal to break up the mixture of prints.

Alexander Wang. WAS £330 NOW £231.
A patterned jean has been done by many, J-Brand and Current/Elliot being the main ones. With wedges, Converse or Summer gladiators, worn with blazer or basic tee, they are a winner for all occasions ♥

Michael Kors. WAS £1255 NOW £753.
Animal print is a classic. Utterly timeless.
With a built-in stretch-jersey body and daring split sides, this chic chiffon piece is the ultimate in glamour.

Prada. £1160.
And of course as with any outfit, the classic bag has to be added. An attempt at trying something other than black, a red top handled tote will never go out of fashion ♥

Giuseppe Zanotti. £360.
Yes!!! Just to really mix it up, you could add your skyscraper heels, or Louboutin wedges you invest in every year. Or you could join the sneaker crew! No, not the wedge Isabel Marant's or Chloe's, but these flat printed beauties. Perfect in every way and will most definitely give you that cutting edge style. Unique. Timeless. ♥
