Edinburgh Fringe Festival...

So, not particularly fashion related but I promised a post to my brother. Ever been to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival? No? Well, you don't know what you're missing out on. I happen to be a tad biased in this subject, as not only have I been but I also have a fondness for a certain Horizon Arts. A company who won the Adelaide Award back in 2010 for their outstanding play 'Heroin(e) For Breakfast' and just keeps on going from strength to strength. Last year they brought us 'Razing Eddie', a harrowing tale about love, friendship and trust. Posing questions on how far you would go for the love of another. Certain parts really did hit home and tears were soon strolling in abundance. What I love about these are their true Yorkshire charm, their tales are so close to home that its almost scary, goosebumps will cover your entire body at poignant moments and you have to remind yourself that it's actually a play you're watching and not a snippet of someone's life. I have the privilege of knowing the mastermind behind Horizon and this puts the whole company and spirit into perspective!

Now this years Fringe brings you a double whammy, 'Beeston Rifles' and 'The Vanish Inquisition', the latter I have already seen and I can tell you that this is one NOT to be missed. So, if you know what's good for you then you will give yourself a real treat this Summer and get yourself to Edinburgh, book some tickets and spend a delightful few days in the capital, being all civilised and intellectual and that. Horizon Arts. A name not to forget this Summer!!!Xxx
